Super Sports - Field

Athletes from West Leigh Junior School experienced another incredibly successful day in the field events of Super Sports. The children were competing against some of the best athletes in Southend in their disciplines and did remarkably well! There was 1st place in the Year 5 boys' long jump, 1st place in the Year 6 boys' rounders ball throw, 1st place in the Year 4 girls' tennis ball throw, 3rd place in the Year 6 boys' long jump and 2nd place in the Year 5 girls' javelin throw. A special mention must go to Layla in Year 4 who now holds the Borough record for her tennis ball throw! Congratulations to all our athletes who competed at Super Sports. You truly are amazing!
