Southend Netball Finals

On Thursday this week, eight Year 6 girls were invited to play in the Year 6 Southend netball finals.

Our first game was a close game against Our Lady of Lourdes which we won 5-3. We then played Leigh North Street who were a very strong team, we lost 8-1. We needed to beat Bournemouth Park to go through as runners up. We were very determined and beat them 5-0.

In the semifinals we played Alleyn Court and unfortunately lost 9-2. But we re grouped and played Earls Hall in the 3rd/4th play off which we won 3-0.

Well done to all the girls for their excellent teamwork and sportsmanship.
