Southend Cross-Country Competition

It has been a very successful start to the school sporting calendar! 48 children represented WLJS in a cross-country competition on Wednesday and ran incredibly well despite competing against grueling winds! The WLJS teaching staff were incredibly proud to see the children’s determination in the races and how they supported each other and encouraged others throughout the afternoon. We look forward to celebrating the children’s success in assembly and sharing the overall results once they come through. Well done to all of the children involved!
