Parish Cup: West Leigh V Greenways

West Leigh competed in a thrilling extravaganza of footballing drama against Greenways on Thursday, in the second round of the Parish Cup. After trailing 2-1 at half time, the team responded brilliantly by galvanising themselves into a marauding hoard upon the pitch! After bombarding the Greenways goal with ferocious pressure, Joe Smith scored his second goal of the game to take the team within a whisker of cup victory. However, luck was not on our side and Greenways made it 3-2 with just seconds to go!
