Is it hot enough to...

...fry an egg on the playground?

Never one to let an opportunity for learning pass, Mr Queenborough decided to test just how hot our playground was today! The children watched eagerly to see if it really would be hot enough to fry a raw egg.

The egg was broken at 1.10pm and by 2.55pm the yolk of the egg had solidified. It might not have been good enough to eat, but it had cooked!
