Football Festival

On Friday 14th February, 10 boys from year 3 and 8 boys from year 5 took part in a football festival at the Len Forge Centre. The year 3 festival in the morning and the year 5 festival in the afternoon. In the morning festival the year 3 team played 5 matches each lasting 15 minutes and in the afternoon festival the year 5 team played 6 matches lasting 12 minutes. Both teams got lots of game time to develop their football skills, teamwork and communication, with both teams improving in every match. All the children had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the opportunity to represent the school in competitive football matches against other schools.
