Christmas Jumper Swap

Christmas started early and with a bit of a bang on Friday at West Leigh Junior School with our pre-loved Christmas jumper swap! As the school gates opened, children flooded into the hall to donate their pre-loved jumpers and receive a token to be exchanged for a 'new' pre-loved one. The Eco Warriors demonstrated excellent organisational and selling skills (some certainly could move into a career selling time-shares) and at the end of the afternoon, only a few jumpers were left for onward donation. It was lovely to see the children chatting, laughing and interacting with other year groups and it seemed that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event. We will certainly be repeating this next year, so keep hold of any old jumpers or those that have been outgrown. Also keep an eye out for information on our next Eco swap which will happen in the new year.
