Netball Competition

On Wednesday 6th March, 8 year six girls attended the KS2 Netball competition at Garon Park. On a very breezy, cold day we played four games in the morning beating Leigh North Street 4-0, Friars 3-1, Prince Avenue 7-0 and Greenways 2-0. We went through to the super 10’s in the afternoon where we played Earls Hall and won 3-2 and Chalkwell and won 3-1, unfortunately we lost 3-2 to Blenheim and we had to win our last game to go through to the semifinals. Unfortunately we were beaten 3-2 by Fairways with them scoring in the last minute of the game! We came 5th out of 20 schools and annoyingly Chalkwell won the competition (we had beaten them earlier on) however the girls enjoyed playing lots of netball and look forward to continuing our league fixtures over the next few weeks.
