Yr 5/6 boys football vs. Blenheim


On Wednesday 30th January, the boys’ football team travelled to Blenheim Primary School to play their second league game of the season. The boys continued their good form from the previous game, apply great attacking pressure and defensive play throughout the match. The boys got a number of shots towards the goal with Blenheim’s keeper pulling out some superb saves as well as their defenders making crucial tackles and blocks within the box. At half time the boys had a 2-0 lead. They went into the second half and continued to play with great confidence and team work. At the end of the match the score was West Leigh 6-0 Blenheim. Both teams showed excellent sportsmanship, respect and played a fantastic game of football, making it really enjoyable for all involved.
