Boys' cricket competition
On Wednesday 13th June, 10 boys travelled to Garons to play in the boys’ cricket competition. In the morning the team had 3 games to play in the group stage, they played Darlinghurst, Westborough and Heycroft. The first match was very close with the boys just missing out on the win by 2 runs, with two games left the boys continued to improve their bowling and fielding as well as their batting skills, but were unable to get a win.
In the afternoon the boys played two friendly matches against Westborough and Earls Hall. The boys improved throughout each match and enjoyed this fantastic opportunity to play cricket against other schools. They demonstrated superb sportsmanship all through the day.
