Netball competition
Tuesday 22nd May, 8 year 6 girls competed in the netball competition held at Garon Park. On a very hot day the girls played a total of 10 games. In the morning they were unbeaten against St. Michael's, Chalkwell, Earls Hall and Hamstel Juniors. We were re-grouped in the afternoon and beat Blenheim, Prince Avenue, Hamstel again and drew with Temple Sutton 1-1. In the semi-final we played Alleyn Court and lost 3-1. We then played Earls Hall again for the 3rd/4th play off, this was a very close game, 2-2 at the end. It went into extra time where unfortunately for us Earls Hall scored with seconds to go. The girls showed excellent team spirit and were very unlucky to not come away with a medal. Well done to all of them.
