Boys football v Bournemouth park

On Monday 19th March, Mr Nash and Miss Fletcher travelled to Bournemouth Park Primary school with the boys’ football team to play their last league game of the season. In the first half, Bournemouth Park managed to get two goals past our keeper. With a few minutes to go before the half time whistle the boys managed to bring the score to, West Leigh 1-2 Bournemouth Park. In the second half the boys found their feet and managed to score a superb goal from long range on the right, across the goal and into the bottom left corner, bringing the score to 2-2. The boys remained focused and managed to score again, with the score, West Leigh 3-2 Bournemouth Park. With only a few minutes to be played the boys put in a great performance, pressing forward, close shots at goal and a strong defense. Bournemouth Park worked hard applying pressure to help them win the ball and have a shot at goal to bring the score to 3-3. With the final whistle blown the game finished, West Leigh 3-3 Bournemouth Park. The boys’ have put in an incredible performance throughout the season and have shown superb sportsmanship and respect at every game.
