Year 5/6 Boys football league

On Monday 27th November Mr Nash and Miss Fletcher traveled to Chalkwell Park with the boys’ football team to play their first league game of the season against Chalkwell Hall Junior School. The boys put in maximum effort from the start, with some great football being played from both teams. With the score, West Leigh 1-2 Chalkwell at half time, the boys pushed once again in the second half with great defensive and attacking play being shown from the boys, they tried to get the equalizer but couldn’t get the ball past Chalkwells goal keeper. With the final whistle blown the final score was - West Leigh 1-3 Chalkwell. The boys put in a fantastic effort and showed great sportsmanship throughout the game.
