Year 6 enjoy Shakespeare workshop

On November 10th, Y6 had their annual Shakespeare extravaganza as the actors arrived to deliver their Macbeth workshop. The children were extremely excited at the prospect of taking part and all had a fabulous time. The four actors: William (Macbeth), Jasmeen (Lady Macbeth / witch), Jay (Banquo / Macduff) and Rebecca (Witch / Gentlewoman / narrator) managed to entrance us all with their powerful performances. Several of the children also played main roles and everybody participated in this story of ambition and vengeance, contributing enthusiastically to the drama.

Feedback from our children and staff suggested that this was one of the best performances yet!
