Bikeathon

On Sunday 14th May, children from West Leigh Junior School were invited to participate in the Junior Bikeathon at Priory Park. This event was held by Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) to help raise money for researching new treatments against these diseases. After a slightly wet and quiet start to the morning, the course was soon filled with children from West Leigh and it was incredible to see the vast majority of participants being from our school. Sponsorship for this event is continuing to arrive at school and Mr Loveridge would like to thank everyone who participated in such a generous cause.
