Celebrating Leigh Together
When we were approached by Mrs Hooper to submit entries for an exhibition celebrating our town, Leigh-on-Sea, we were extremely excited to be involved. Year 5 took up the challenge and spent lots of time thinking about what makes Leigh a great place to live and go to school. The children produced a wide range of work, including some wonderful art work, poetry and more. The work was displayed at the ‘Celebrate Leigh’ event at the Leigh-on-Sea Community Centre on Saturday 22nd April. Four representatives from the School Council attended the event to represent our school and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. The work created by Year 5 will be on display in school shortly, so please do come and have a look!
