Ability Action workshops
Today, Year 5 were visited by Claire and Peter from Ability Action. They delivered a very interesting assembly about disability to the whole year group, encouraging children to change their perceptions and consider how disabilities affect people’s lives. Both Claire and Peter commented on the sensible and perceptive questions asked by the children in our school. Following the assembly, our playground squad then took part in a workshop with Peter and Claire, where they learned how to be inclusive and consider how they can help make our playground an even happier place.
