Hamstel football match
On Tuesday 7th February, Mr Hatton and Mr Nash travelled to Hamstel Junior School with the boys' football team to play their next league game of the season and a friendly. From the beginning of both games West Leigh took control of the match with the pressure creating lots of chances. West Leigh continued to dominate the game. The second half continued in the same way, with West Leigh creating all the chances and a few shots which were cleared off the line. The final score of the friendly was 4-0 and the league game 7-1. The performance was brilliant and, should they continue to play that way, the boys' team will certainly win many games this year.
