Cyber Bullying Play
On Monday 16th January, Years 5 and 6 watched a play presented by drama students at Southend College. The students had written the play themselves in response to the theme of cyber bullying, and had chosen to focus on the use of gaming as a potential tool for children who bully. The children saw how easy it was for people to appear as someone that they are not, and the terrible consequences of online bullying. The students finished the play by showing the children how to help others who may be being bullied and what to do if they are being bullied themselves. The children were all given a wristband with the website address www.thinkuknow.co.uk to help them remember where they can go for help and advice.
