Year 3 pupil names local business
Many children across the school entered the competition to help a local estate agent come up with a new, catchy name for their business. Southend High School for Boys were also taking part in the competition. The entries were excellent – it was obvious that a lot of time and thought had gone into the different suggestions.
Jack Blows at Abode Estate Agents spent a few weeks deliberating over the different entries and spending time with a graphic designer to create a new logo based on his favourite ideas.
In the end, the winning name came from a pupil at West Leigh Junior School! One of our Year 3 pupils entered the name ‘Legra’, which Jack has now chosen as the name for his company. The child wins a brand new iPad mini. Well done – and look out for ‘Legra Homes’ boards around Leigh-on-Sea!
