National Science Inter-School Quiz
On Friday, West Leigh Junior School took part in the National Science Inter-School Quiz Championship at Westlands Community Primary School in Chelmsford. Our team were quizzed on a wide range of topics (none of which were part of their school science curriculum) from dinosaurs to blood groups and cloud types. Their demonstration of knowledge was truly astounding and they did themselves and the school proud. Unfortunately their final score saw them narrowly miss out on a place in the next round. A huge 'Well done!' to the team nevertheless and many thanks to the parents and carers who took the children to the event and supported them throughout.
