Year 6 Old Leigh trip

Year 6 recently visited Old Leigh to learn about the role of the 'Little Ships' during the Second World War. Whilst they were there, they found out about the events that directly affected the fishermen of Leigh and how they were called into action to rescue the soldiers trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk. Whilst in Old Leigh, they also practised their sketching skills and created some wonderful artwork of The Endeavour.
