Junior Bikeathon
On Sunday 15th May, 166 children from West Leigh Junior School participated in the Junior Bikeathon. The event was hosted by Bloodwise (formerly Leukemia & Lymphoma Research) who work hard to develop new ways to beat all the different types of blood cancer. This was a record-breaking number of children from our school who attended and both Mr Loveridge and Miss Jones were absolutely delighted and proud of the effort every child put in. Sponsorship money is still being collected in for each lap completed by the children and we are hoping that those donations continue to help in the fight against cancer.
