Through our careers education, we prepare our children for future success in education, employment or training. In PSHE, we introduce the children to careers within the local community and encourage children to think about the skills and talents that they may have and wish to develop. We teach the children how to ‘sell themselves’ and write letters when applying for their dream job.

In addition to this, every two years we hold a Careers Day. This successful event introduces the children to a wide range of careers, from the creative to the academic. We select speakers from diverse backgrounds.  At our last event the children were hugely inspired when listening to Danny Crates, Paralympian, share his career journey. They take part in workshops such as forensic science, interview technique and engineering.
