Our assemblies, which include our Acts of Worship [the legal obligation], are an important feature of daily life in school. Assemblies make a positive contribution to pupil self-development and aim to create, nurture and sustain a sense of community.

Assemblies take place during the week in the following arrangement:

 

Monday - Whole school assembly with singing

Tuesday – Phase/year group/class assembly

Wednesday - Phase/year group/class assembly

Thursday - Phase/year group/class assembly

Friday – Whole school celebration assembly 

 

These assemblies are timetabled to allow for coverage of British Values, Protected Characteristics, religious festivals, growth mindset and much more. We regularly invite speakers from a wide range of religions to speak to the children about their beliefs. Please see our assembly timetable below.
